Lyrebird

Have you ever heard of lyre bird? This bird type of natural wonder takes its name of Lyre, an ancient Greek stringed instrument. The reason for this is the two thick and colored feathers on its back. This  wonderful creature is famous for not only its physical appearance but also for its imitation skill. Imitating all the sounds in the environment makes it really attractive. Dwelling on land and being herbivore, lyre bird doesn’t like flying and feeds on plant seeds, spiders and worms. It spends the night by roosting on trees in the humid forests of eastern Australia. It normally doesn’t get away from its nest but when it can’t find food, it gets away to search for it. It maintains its generation by setting on one egg in between the middle of spring and the beginning of fall. When we encounter it in forest, this master sound-imitator makes us feel like there is a bird team. But all that harmonical sound comes from one thing: Lyre bird…
